3rd Banstead Cubs’ RAF Camp

The cubs from 3rd Banstead have had another amazing camp with this year’s theme focusing on the celebrations of 100 years of the RAF.  The sixes became squadrons and tackled a series of challenges including creating their own planes (from boxes!) and cooking their own food over wood fires – whilst being very careful in the dry circumstances.  The cubs also tackled trek cart racing, shooting, pioneering and logic games as well as having some great camp fires!
The cubs gained lots of swimming badges as well as a range of other badges including their Nights Away badges which build up in number as they progress through Scouting.
