3rd Banstead Elm Pack joined by the Fire Fighters

To help the cubs earn their Fire safety badge, Elm pack at 3rd Banstead invited the Banstead Fire station appliance to visit.

Four firefighters and a fire engine arrived to much excitement. The cubs were shown some of the different equipment on the appliance and were told what it was used for.  They were able to climb into the cab and were shown the on-board computer which has satellite navigation but can also provide other information as needed. But of course what the cubs enjoyed most was using the hose, and all the cubs had a chance to soak any leader’s cars within range.
