This year we had 6 teams. They all appear to have had a good afternoon producing some excellent food despite the sweltering conditions. One of the teams from 3rd Banstead were the winners and 7th Banstead came 2nd and 3rd but as Paul Martin, event organiser said "They were all winners for taking part and gaining experience".

The event, hosted at Scout Ridge, was judged by a team from the Metropolitan Police's Catering Squad.  The team sampled a range of food: a cold fish starter followed by Chilli Con Carne and then a pancake to round it all off.
