Park Farm is the Banstead
District Site and is two acres
adjoining Banstead Woods and Park
Downs. During the last few years, many improvements
have been made. There are now 9 new
concrete altar fire places, for
patrol cooking, along side the
individual tent pitches. The kitchen
now has a 6 ring catering cooker and
double oven and a fridge freezer. A
large hall is included for dining
and for emergency accommodation for
cub camps.
There are male and female
Leaders' and boys' and girls' wash
rooms with hot showers.
Visit in May to see Banstead
Woods as a sea of bluebells. Nature
trail nearby. Chipstead Station is a
short walk away for frequent trains
to and from London. |
